Ejewelstore.com is a Family Business with Direct 
Internet Sales to You, Party Planners and established 
resellers. We strive to offer you the Lowest Prices.

Our business began in June 2003 & and has developed
quickly from within Australia into a worldwide business 
with excellent quality products, lower prices and best 
quality service.

Mr Peter Kooper (who developed the first phase of our 
website), Mr Rohan Lund who completed phase 2, and 
Mr Eric Wang who is currently our developer on phase 3 
have succeeded in producing a world class interactive 
site that should satisfy your needs.

What information this site collects about you:

MEMBER INFORMATION:

This must include a legitimate email address where we
can contact you. It must also include your name, 
residential address & phone number. This information 
is collected as part of the member registration process.
You can update changes in delivery address & your 
phone number at any time.

We only ship to your known and confirmed 
residential address.

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:

For your security we DO NOT store any credit card 
details on this site. For your security, you will be
transferred to a SECURE SITE accredited by our 
Bank for any financial transactions.

COMMUNICATIONS:

Email or other means, which pass through our system
between yourself & ejewelstore.com or our Staff.

OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Volunteered by you. This could be in response to 
surveys, contests, online activities or emails, either 
business related or not.

NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION:

Like your IP address, browser type, pages visited etc.
is all information that is passed over the internet.

HOW WE USE COLLECTED INFORMATION:

Every effort will be made to keep your personal 
information private and confidential.

Contact information is used to communicate with you.

Testimonials may be posted on our website and 
included in emails to members to help promote our 
services. Testimonials, complaints and other feedback
may be stored for legal reasons.

Any Other personal information provided voluntarily by
you in response to surveys, competitions etc. This will
be deleted within a reasonable time after the event.

Non-personally identifiable information is used to help
us monitor & improve our service and infrastructure. 
Storage and security of personal information is held 
by our Website hosting service.

Normal website & server security methods are used 
to protect this data. Our site has been built with 
security in mind and you may therefore have to add us
to your trusted sites list for it to function correctly.

You can update your contact and delivery information
at any time by logging onto our website and following 
the update or edit details links from the members login.
Your name can only be changed by direct request to us.
We may require proof of name change. Any acceptable 
changes are solely at ejewelstore.com discretion for 
security reasons. Many of your login details are deleted
from our systems on a regular basis.

EXCEPTIONS:

We will hold any information that may be used to 
satisfy our legal or taxation obligations etc. for any
relevant time as decided by us or specified by that authority. 
We may also keep a record of information regarding
your contact and dealings with us in the form of a memo.
This may include relationships that you have with other 
members or establishing Family member or reseller links. 
Other than for reasons of security and/or fraud, this is only to
establish a good personal relationship with you in a network 
or Family scenario.

MEMBERSHIP TERM:

Your membership will be ongoing unless we are 
advised otherwise by you in writing or your account
has been inactive for an extended period. Your 
membership may be terminated by ejewelstore.com
for reasons of non-payment of goods or any other 
reason at the sole discretion of ejewelstore.com.

CANCELLED MEMBERSHIP:

We will hold your membership off-line until you 
either advise us by email or other written means 
that you wish to terminate your membership entirely. 
This is done so as to enable you to rejoin easily by 
logging on and re-activating your membership.

If you advise us in writing to cancel your membership,
your membership will be cancelled & our email
specials list will be cancelled at your request.
We will keep all identifying information off-line,
but the following details will be kept in our records
for legal reasons: name, email, address, 
phone numbers, including transaction records
etc, as backup for legal and tax purposes,
as required by Australian & International Law.

RETRIEVAL OF PERSONAL INFORMATION:

You can access all the contact and membership 
information we hold about you at any time, simply 
by logging on to the ejewelstore.com site. Or 
contact us directly for any non-website or other 
personal data that we may hold.

COMPLAINTS ABOUT OUR SERVICE:

We take pride in the quality of our after sales
service! So please contact us if unsatisfied.

If a complaint about our services is received, 
it will be addressed in a courteous, responsible
and professional manner. The issue will be 
resolved in the same manner. We want your
continued patronage and will therefore take all
relevant and pertinent steps to try and resolve the 
problem, in accordance with the relevant 
Consumer law requirements of our State (NSW)
in Australia. However no remedial action will be
taken unless the complaint is substantiated by
evidence of non-delivery, faulty workmanship 
or item not being as stated.

Complaints will be investigated and recorded as
appropriate. Any complaints will be recorded and
details stored in case of future disputes with any
member and for legal reasons.

EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS:

ejewelstore.com employees and contractors may 
also be members of the site, and their employment 
may give them access to information not generally
available to other members.

Every effort will be made to protect your personal 
information or other information held by us. 
We instruct any and all employee or contractors to
avoid this information, if possible, for any purpose
other than for the performance of their duties.
If any transgression is identified, the person involved
will be reported to relevant authorities and will be dealt
with promptly and severely by us.

We take your privacy seriously.

PAYMENTS:

AUSTRALIAN BUYERS: Prices are exclusive of GST.
Therefore GST (as at 10/2008) 10% IS APPLICABLE and 
will be added to the purchase price. Bank deposit is 
preferred. Credit Cards (Visa & Mastercard of Australian 
Residents) & paypal accepted for delivery within 
Australia Only! A credit card and paypal transaction 
fee may apply.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: GST is NOT applicable. 
Paypal Payments, Western Union Money Orders, 
International Bank Cheques or Direct Bank Deposit 
accepted. Sorry, International credit cards are NOT 
accepted (International card payments can be made
using Paypal to a confirmed address only). 
A paypal transaction fee may apply.
 
We reserve the right NOT to accept any merchandise 
as having been fully paid for, if an error has occurred in
the listing price, or a website coding error has not 
correctly priced this merchandise. In the event of this 
occurrence, your purchase price will be fully refunded
if you do not agree to the correct price for the 
merchandise.

INSURANCE:

Insurance is payable on all purchases over $100.
This is for your security in case of loss in shipping.
You will therefore be covered for items lost in transit
over this value.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY:

We can assure you that our merchandise is at 
Low prices and is great value for money. 
Purchases can be exchanged if the item is not as stated.
Our refund policy is there as a last resort if you are still 
not satisfied. We do not refund however, if item is 
*as stated in our listing and freight & insurance costs 
are non-refundable. Item should be returned to us (insured)
in the same condition as received, 
following email approval from us.

Please keep in mind that "*as stated" means as rated 
in any provided appraisal. This is due to the wide range 
in discrepancies in appraisals & retail valuations from 
different ratings agencies.

A 10% restocking fee on refunds (not replacements 
or credits) may apply in certain circumstances. 
Any attached identification tags must not be removed 
from item. 
Claims needs to be made within 14 days of purchase date.
